Die On-Device-KI läuft komplett auf deinem iPad. Bei der Cloud-KI wird der jeweilige Inhalt (dein Text, das Foto bzw. eine Beschreibung deines Diagramms) über unseren Server an Anthropic (Claude) gesendet und dort verarbeitet – Details in der Datenschutzerklärung. Mit eigenem Anthropic-Schlüssel (BYOK) läuft das direkt über deinen Schlüssel.
On-device AI runs entirely on your iPad. With cloud AI, the relevant content (your text, the photo, or a description of your diagram) is sent via our server to Anthropic (Claude) for processing – see the privacy policy. With your own Anthropic key (BYOK) it runs directly through your key.

2. Aufruf dieser Website (Hosting & Server-Logfiles)
Diese Website wird bei Cloudflare gehostet bzw. ausgeliefert (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA; in der EU vertreten durch die Cloudflare Germany GmbH, Rosental 7, c/o Mindspace, 80331 München). Beim Aufruf verarbeitet Cloudflare technisch notwendige Daten in Server-Logfiles (IP-Adresse, Datum/Uhrzeit, abgerufene Datei, Datenmenge, Referrer, Browser-/Betriebssystem-Kennung) zur sicheren Bereitstellung der Website (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO). Die Website setzt keine Cookies, kein Tracking und keine Analyse-Tools ein und lädt keine Drittinhalte nach. (Diese Aussage betrifft die Website; zur anonymen Diagnose-/Nutzungsstatistik der App siehe Abschnitt 4.) Cloudflare ist ein US-Unternehmen; Daten können in die USA übertragen werden. Cloudflare ist unter dem EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework zertifiziert; ergänzend bestehen Standardvertragsklauseln (Art. 46 DSGVO).
3. Die App aixFlow – lokale Daten & iCloud
aixFlow verarbeitet deine Diagramme und Eingaben auf deinem iPad (Apple SwiftData). Bist du in iCloud angemeldet, synchronisiert die App diese Daten über Apples iCloud (CloudKit) zwischen deinen eigenen Geräten; sie liegen dann in deiner privaten iCloud-Datenbank. Wir erhalten diese Daten nicht und haben keinen Zugriff darauf; Speicherung und Übertragung erfolgen durch Apple Inc. (One Apple Park Way, Cupertino, CA, USA) als Anbieter des iCloud-Dienstes (Auftragsverarbeiter) im Rahmen deines iCloud-Kontos. Ein damit verbundener Drittland-Transfer in die USA ist über das EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Apple ist zertifiziert) sowie ergänzende Standardvertragsklauseln abgesichert. Den Sync kannst du in den iOS-Einstellungen unter „Apple-ID → iCloud → aixFlow“ deaktivieren.
4. Diagnose- und Nutzungsstatistik der App
Zur Stabilitäts- und Qualitätsverbesserung erhebt die App aixFlow über den Dienst TelemetryDeck (Anbieter mit Sitz in der EU) anonyme Nutzungs-, Absturz- und Leistungsdaten. Diese Signale enthalten ausschließlich aggregierte Zähl- und Zustandswerte (z. B. „Diagramm erstellt“, „Export ausgeführt“, „Absturz“) sowie technische Geräteklassen-Angaben. Sie enthalten keine Diagramm-Inhalte, Element- oder Dateinamen, keine Texteingaben oder KI-Ergebnisse und sind nicht mit deiner Identität oder deinem Konto verknüpft. Ein geräteübergreifendes Tracking findet nicht statt. Rechtsgrundlage ist unser berechtigtes Interesse an einem stabilen, fehlerfreien Betrieb der App (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO). TelemetryDeck verarbeitet die Daten innerhalb der EU.
5. Cloud-KI (Text-, Foto- und Korrektur-Funktionen)
Nutzt du eine Cloud-KI-Funktion, wird der dafür nötige Inhalt – dein eingegebener Text, das von dir gewählte Foto bzw. eine strukturierte Beschreibung deines Diagramms – über unseren Server-Proxy (Cloudflare) an Anthropic PBC (Claude; 548 Market St, San Francisco, CA, USA) zur Verarbeitung gesendet und das Ergebnis an dich zurückgegeben. Rechtsgrundlage ist die Erfüllung des mit dir geschlossenen Nutzungsvertrags bzw. die Bearbeitung deiner Anfrage (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO). Dabei wird ein zufälliges, gerätelokales Konto-Token übermittelt, um Kontingent und etwaige Käufe zuzuordnen – kein Klarname. Zur Missbrauchs- und Überlastungsabwehr verarbeitet unser Proxy dabei kurzzeitig deine IP-Adresse (Ratenbegrenzung); sie wird nicht dauerhaft gespeichert. Cloudflare und Anthropic sind US-Anbieter; insoweit findet ein Drittland-Transfer in die USA statt. Für Cloudflare bestehen das EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework und ergänzend Standardvertragsklauseln; die Übermittlung an Anthropic stützt sich auf die in das Data Processing Addendum einbezogenen EU-Standardvertragsklauseln (Art. 46 Abs. 2 lit. c DSGVO). Die Diktierfunktion nutzt die Spracherkennung deines Geräts; der erkannte Text wird erst dann an die Cloud-KI übermittelt, wenn du ihn absendest. Die On-Device-KI (Apple Intelligence) verarbeitet ohne diese Übertragung direkt auf dem Gerät. Hinterlegst du deinen eigenen Anthropic-Schlüssel (BYOK), werden Cloud-KI-Anfragen direkt an Anthropic gerichtet und nicht über unseren Server geleitet.
6. Geteilte Links
Erstellst du einen öffentlichen Link, wird eine Bildfassung (SVG) des Diagramms auf unserem Server (Cloudflare) gespeichert und ist über die URL öffentlich abrufbar. Der Link läuft nach 90 Tagen automatisch ab und ist jederzeit von dir widerrufbar (dann wird die gespeicherte Fassung gelöscht). Rechtsgrundlage ist die Erfüllung deiner Anfrage (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO). Teile auf diesem Weg keine vertraulichen Inhalte.
7. Käufe (In-App-Käufe)
Die Zahlungsabwicklung erfolgt über Apple. Wir erhalten von Apple lediglich eine signierte Kaufbestätigung zur Freischaltung der erworbenen Funktionen; Zahlungsdaten (z. B. Kreditkarte) erhalten wir nicht.
8. Kontaktaufnahme per E-Mail
Schreibst du uns, verarbeiten wir deine Angaben zur Bearbeitung der Anfrage (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b bzw. f DSGVO). Die Daten werden gelöscht, sobald sie nicht mehr erforderlich sind und keine Aufbewahrungspflichten entgegenstehen.

10. Speicherdauer
Diagramme verbleiben lokal auf deinem Gerät und – sofern aktiviert – in deiner privaten iCloud, bis du sie löschst. Auf unserem Server speichern wir: geteilte Diagramm-Ansichten (SVG) bis zu 90 Tage bzw. bis zum Widerruf (dann sofortige Löschung); technische Verbrauchsprotokolle der KI-Nutzung (nur Zählwerte, kein Inhalt) 90 Tage; zwischengespeicherte KI-Antworten zur Vermeidung doppelter Ausführung bis zu 24 Stunden; Missbrauchsschutz-/Ratenbegrenzungsdaten wenige Stunden. Kauf-, Abo- und Kontingentdaten (verknüpft mit einem zufälligen, gerätelokalen Konto-Token, kein Klarname) speichern wir, solange dies zur Bereitstellung und Abrechnung erforderlich ist; auf Anfrage löschen wir diese unter Angabe deines Konto-Tokens.
11. Deine Rechte
Dir stehen die Rechte auf Auskunft (Art. 15), Berichtigung (Art. 16), Löschung (Art. 17), Einschränkung (Art. 18), Datenübertragbarkeit (Art. 20) und Widerspruch (Art. 21 DSGVO) zu sowie das Recht auf Beschwerde bei einer Aufsichtsbehörde (Art. 77 DSGVO). Wende dich an die im Impressum genannte Adresse. Auskunfts- oder Löschanfragen zu serverseitig gespeicherten Daten setzen die Angabe deines Konto-Tokens voraus, da wir keine Login-/Klarnamen-Konten führen.

2. Visiting this website (hosting & server logs)
This website is hosted/delivered by Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA; represented in the EU by Cloudflare Germany GmbH, Rosental 7, c/o Mindspace, 80331 Munich, Germany). When you access the site, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data in server logs (IP address, date/time, file requested, data volume, referrer, browser/OS identifiers) to provide the website securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The site uses no cookies, no tracking and no analytics, and loads no third-party content. (This statement concerns the website; for the app’s anonymous diagnostics/usage statistics see section 4.) Cloudflare is a US company; data may be transferred to the USA, safeguarded by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 GDPR).
3. The aixFlow app – local data & iCloud
aixFlow processes your diagrams and input on your iPad (Apple SwiftData). When signed in to iCloud, the app syncs this data via Apple's iCloud (CloudKit) across your own devices; it then lives in your private iCloud database. We do not receive it and have no access; storage and transfer are handled by Apple Inc. (One Apple Park Way, Cupertino, CA, USA) as the iCloud service provider (processor) within your iCloud account. Any associated third-country transfer to the USA is safeguarded by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Apple is certified) and supplementary Standard Contractual Clauses. You can disable sync in iOS Settings under “Apple ID → iCloud → aixFlow”.
4. App diagnostics & usage statistics
To improve stability and quality, the aixFlow app collects anonymous usage, crash and performance data via the service TelemetryDeck (a provider based in the EU). These signals contain only aggregated counts and state values (e.g. “diagram created”, “export performed”, “crash”) plus technical device-class information. They contain no diagram content, element or file names, no text input or AI results, and are not linked to your identity or account. No cross-device tracking takes place. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the stable, error-free operation of the app (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). TelemetryDeck processes the data within the EU.
5. Cloud AI (text, photo and correction features)
When you use a cloud AI feature, the required content – your text, the photo you choose, or a structured description of your diagram – is sent via our server proxy (Cloudflare) to Anthropic PBC (Claude; 548 Market St, San Francisco, CA, USA) for processing, and the result is returned to you. The legal basis is the performance of your usage contract / handling of your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). A random, device-local account token is transmitted to attribute quota and any purchases – no real name. To prevent abuse and overload, our proxy briefly processes your IP address (rate limiting); it is not stored permanently. Cloudflare and Anthropic are US providers; a third-country transfer to the USA takes place. For Cloudflare, the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and supplementary Standard Contractual Clauses apply; the transfer to Anthropic relies on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses incorporated into the Data Processing Addendum (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR). The dictation feature uses your device's speech recognition; the recognized text is only sent to the cloud AI once you submit it. On-device AI (Apple Intelligence) processes directly on the device without this transfer. If you store your own Anthropic key (BYOK), cloud AI requests go directly to Anthropic and not through our server.
6. Shared links
When you create a public link, an image version (SVG) of the diagram is stored on our server (Cloudflare) and is publicly accessible via the URL. The link expires automatically after 90 days and can be revoked by you at any time (the stored version is then deleted). Legal basis: performance of your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Do not share confidential content this way.
7. Purchases (in-app purchases)
Payment is handled by Apple. We only receive a signed purchase confirmation from Apple to unlock the features you bought; we do not receive payment details (e.g. card data).
8. Contact by email
If you email us, we process your details to handle the request (Art. 6(1)(b)/(f) GDPR). The data is deleted once no longer required and no retention obligations apply.

10. Retention
Diagrams remain locally on your device and – if enabled – in your private iCloud until you delete them. On our server we store: shared diagram views (SVG) for up to 90 days or until revoked (then deleted immediately); technical usage logs of AI use (counts only, no content) for 90 days; cached AI responses to avoid duplicate execution for up to 24 hours; abuse-protection/rate-limiting data for a few hours. Purchase, subscription and quota data (linked to a random, device-local account token, no real name) are stored as long as necessary to provide and bill the service; on request we delete them upon providing your account token.
11. Your rights
You have the rights to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR), and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). Please contact the address in the Legal Notice. Access or erasure requests for server-side data require you to provide your account token, as we operate no login/real-name accounts.
